Call for Papers: Remote Middle English...
Middle English Forum Roundtable is seeking papers for MLA National Convention 2022, which will be held in Washington, D.C. from January 6 - 9, 2022.
Papers should focus on the topic of "remoteness" in Middle English literature c. 1200 - 1700.
Topics could include Middle English plot devices such as quests to remote locations, or literary portrayals of locations that were at a long distance from England,
as well as the portrayal of England itself as a geographically remote location near the edge of the known world at that time.
Submissions should contain a 250-word or less abstract.
